The Kakadu National Park is a breath-taking landscape filled with mesmerising waterfalls, ancient rock art, and sprawling plains, all of which you can discover on this three-day tour. We’ll take you to centuries-old art spots, refreshing plunge pools, and incredible sunset lookout points as you learn more about this fascinating part of the country.
Day 1: Leave Darwin for the 3-hour trip to Kakadu. Head to the Bowali Visitor Centre just outside the township of Jabiru. After taking in the displays…utilizing the information desk head to Anbinik Kakadu Resort to book into your Anbinik Suite. Head north 40km’s out to the East Alligator or Manbiyarra district and connect with the 3pm Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on completing the cruise at 4.45pm then self-drive the 5km’s to the Ubirr Complex to take in the rock art sites and sunset from the lookout. Afterwards have dinner at the Border Store before heading back to Anbinik Kakadu Resort.
Day 2: You’ll need to be up early and to source breakfast at the onsite restaurant. Your Arnhemlander Cultural and Heritage 4wd day Tour will collect you from the front of the Anbinik Kakadu Resort from 7.50am. With a knowledgeable guide you’ll experience, Arnhem Land, vast flood plains, towering escarpment, rock art sites, Indigenous artist at work at Injalak Arts Centre, have lunch at Inkiyu Billabong. You’ll return to your Anbinik accommodation by 4pm. You have time to relax in your room and or around the pool before having dinner.
Day 3: After breakfast check out before departing around 8am to drive 60 km’s to the south of Jabiru to Cooinda to connect with the 9am Yellow Water Cruise. The cruise will conclude at 11am at which time you could visit the nearby Warradjan Cultural Centre which show cases collections encompassing Aboriginal Art and Kakadu history before enjoying a leisurely lunch at Cooinda. After lunch head, north again to drop into Nourlangie Rock to walk the short loop though the rock art sites and perhaps take in an extended walk. After visiting Nourlangie self- drive back to Darwin before sunset.
The Anbinik Suites with their indoor outdoor bathrooms are without question the nicest rooms in Kakadu National Park.

If any refunds are received from travel service providers, they will be passed on to you, less a minimum cancellation fee of $300 per person.

The Kakadu National Park entry or use fee would be paid direct by client to Parks at Bowali Information Centre or online. That is $100 for family of 4 (2A2C) $40 per adult and or $30 per concession.
